--> Out of Box is a special RF profile for new Light Weight APs that join to the Wireless LAN Controller.
--> Whenever new lightweight access point joins to the Wireless LAN Controller then it will be automatically moved to Out of Box RF Profile once we enable this feature on Wireless LAN Controller.
--> Out of Box RF Profile disables radio interfaces of the lightweight AP which joins to it.
--> New Light Weight Access Points will be present in Out of Box RF Profile until the network administrator removes it from that group and manually enable its radios.
--> This also eliminates any RF instability caused by the new access points.
--> If you enable Out of Box feature in Wireless LAN Controller, save the configuration, and then reboot the Cisco WLC, the status of Out of Box is changed to disabled.
--> The workaround is to enable Out of Box again after you reboot the Cisco WLC.
--> If the AP isn’t moved to another RF group other than the default it will be added to the out-of-box group after every time it joins the controller.
--> All default-group APs that subsequently associate with the controller (existing APs on the same controller that have dropped and reassociated, or APs from another controller) are placed in the Out-of-Box AP group.
--> It is recommended that you assign the APs to a custom AP group to prevent inadvertently having them revert to the Out-of-Box AP group.
