Pulse Connect Appliance can be configured in following methods,
i) One ARM Method
--> In this method we are using only one interface of the Pulse Connect Appliance.
--> Pulse Connect Internal Interface is connected to Internal Network.
--> When External Firewall receives the SSL traffic from outside, it simply forwards it to Pulse Connect.
--> Pulse Connect then provides resources based upon user id and requested service.
--> Not commonly used as we are not implementing Pulse Connect in DMZ.
ii) Two ARM Method
--> In this method we are using two interfaces of the Pulse Connect Appliance.
--> The External interface of the Pulse Connect Appliance is connected to External Firewall and Internal Interface is connected to Internal Network.
--> When External Firewall receives the SSL traffic from outside, it simply forwards it to Pulse Connect.
--> Pulse Connect acts as Proxy to provide resources to external users.
--> Most Commonly used.
